My Licenses – so everything is clear
I’m glad you’d like to use my illustrations! To make sure you know exactly what’s allowed and what isn’t, I’ve clearly outlined the different license types below. Please stick to the selected usage area – this keeps things fair and transparent for everyone.
The four license types at a glance
| License | Allowed ✅ | Not allowed ❌ | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private Use – Print | Prints for personal use, gifts for family & friends | No use in company projects, advertising, or resale | Poster for your living room, photo book for yourself, T-shirt for a friend |
| Private Use – Web | Use on personal profiles or blogs (without advertising/monetization) | No use on company websites or in social ads | Private Instagram profile, hobby blog without income |
| Commercial Use – Print | Printing on flyers, posters, or packaging for your business | No resale of the file, no unlimited mass production | Flyer for a café, poster for an event |
| Commercial Use – Web | Use on business websites, online shops, social ads & newsletters | No sharing, no use as a logo or in templates for resale | Header image in an online shop, social media ad |
Important Notes
- Your license always applies only to you – sharing the file is not allowed.
- Private licenses are strictly for personal use only. If you want to use the file in a business context, you’ll need a commercial license.
- If you’re unsure which license fits your needs, feel free to contact me – I’ll be happy to help you find the right one.
Examples of license violations (please avoid 🚫)
- You purchase “Private Use – Print” but use the image on flyers or packaging for your business.
- You purchase “Private Use – Web” but use the image for a social media ad.
- You share the file with others who have not purchased their own license.
Attribution Recommendation
If you use one of my images, I’d really appreciate a small credit or mention of the source.
It’s not required, but it helps more people discover my artwork and the artist behind it.
